The Irish Setter is a medium to large size dog. It comes in different colors such as mahogany, chestnut red and have white markings around the chest and toe area.

The Irish Setter can grow from 25 to 27 inches high and weigh from 60 to 70 pounds. It's a very outgoing dog that likes to be social. It gets along great with children and other animals. It does best with an active family.
